About

Joel Arriola R.

Born in Mexico City, with a passion for food, music camping and computers. I’ve done a bit of everything in my professional life and currently immersing myself into accounting.

My first profession by choice was as a computer technician, although my original choice was programming; regardless, I’ve done both and I’ve had fun doing it.

Knowing about computers meant to a lot of people that I could do anything with computers and so it began a quest for sharing and gathering knowledge. Thanks to this, I got my self into graphic design, I dab into robotics, went back to graphic design every now and then in several occasions and learned about screen printing, advertising products, stationery, web design and photography.

Photography has been a special skill that holds dear close to me, I love taking out a camera and shot away different subjects… even for fun I end up holding over 600 photos of one event!

I’ve been a teacher as well, at schools, at corporate level, training sessions at manufacturer company installations, and the subject has been as diverse as the range of experience I have.

It’s fun learning about for example, Quality Systems, but it’s even more fun to teach someone else the ropes and help them maintain the system in place.

I have done network installation and management, mostly in windows platforms but I’ve done some work on linux and macOX.

Feel free to come by and find out a bit more of what I do and what can I do for you in a professional or an academic environment, I’m always open to participate in new projects.
